CLUB HISTORY
 

The Club was chartered on Oct. 7, 1987 with 30 members on its rolls. The small beginning has now grown to a family of 66 members. During the period the club has successfully accomplished the following Community Projects in addition to its regular projects.
 

1987-88 Donated Calcium Analyzer to PGI.
 
1998-98 Hosted District Inter City.
 
1989-90 Hosted District Conference.
 
1992-93

Constructed shed in Cremation Ground, Chandigarh Adopted Village Kishangarh fir its overall growth.
 

1993-94

Dwelling unit at leprosy colony.

Provision of Filtered Water Supply at Manimajra Health Center.  Hosted District Assembly.
 

1994-95 Constructed grounds floor of RVTC for Family Welfare center at Village Kishangarh.
 
1995-96 Constructed first floor of RVTC, Village Kishangarh.
 
1996-97 Honoured by Chandigarh Administration as Best Club for Pulse Polio Program.
 
1997-98

Typing School & Book Bank inaugurated by RI President Rtn. Glen  Kinross at  RVTC , Kishangarh.
Introduced the concept of Dinner Meetings.
Biggest Pulse Polio ralley in the District organized.
Hosted District Awards Function
Candidate selected for GSE Team.
Received 5 awards at District Awards Function.

1998-99

Water Cooler donated at Village Kishangarh Dispensery.

Blankets donanted to needy in the month of Dec. & Jan.

Hearing Aids donanted to needy people.

Pulse polio campaign recognition from Rotary International.

Received 13 Awards at District Awards Function 1999-2000

Contruction of permanent shed at cremation ground in Village Kishangarh.

Hosted Pre-PETS

Two PHF inducted.

Hearse Van Matching Grant Project approved by Rotary Foundation.

Donated desert cooler to Dispensary ( RVTC) at Kishangarh.

Substential contribution towards Kargil Releif Fund.

Declared as best Club in District 3080( Category upto 50 members)
 

2000-2001

Literacy

Adopted mentally challenged girl child : providing free education at Bhavan Vidalya.
